Though fewer than half of moms who own smartphones (XX%) have had them for less than a year, and the majority of these moms (XX%) have downloaded over XX apps, according to Mom Central Consulting.
Six in XX moms (XX%) consider cost the most important factor in selecting an app, with XX% of moms typically downloading free ones. More than one in four (XX%) want apps that cost under $X, and XX% are willing to pay less than $X. Only X% would pay over $X for an app.
While nearly one in two moms (XX%) use their favorite apps at least once a day, and another XX% use them sometimes, most of their other apps are discarded: XX% of moms have X-X apps they have only used once, XX% have X-X apps they've used once, and XX% have at least nine apps they've deleted after using once.
Three in four moms (XX%) let their children play on their phones regularly, and another XX% sometimes allow their kids to play on them. Some XX% of moms say that at least XX% of their downloaded apps are just for their kids, while an additional XX% claim that XX%-XX% of their apps are kid-focused. Only XX% of moms say their downloaded apps contain none that are appropriate for children. [MOBILE]
